Moss Side Community First Plan

Moss Side Community First Plan

This plan explains the purpose and priorities for the Moss Side Panel.

Its purpose is to:

·    improve communities through better coordination between services

·    respond to the concerns of the community and elected members (councillors)

·    make the most of the opportunities and strengths of the ward and community.

In order to do these things we bring partners, Moss Side Councillors and the community together in the Ward Coordination quarterly meetings.   The partners include the Greater Manchester Police (GMP), Registered Housing Providers and our colleagues in other directorates such as the Neighbourhood Delivery Team, Children’s and Adults Services and representatives from community groups. The Ward Coordinator leads these meetings and all ward coordination activities in Moss Side.

Some of these representatives sit on the Moss Side Community First Panel.
