then went on to welcome new members Tracy Neil and Jean Coddington. Tracy is from Salisbury Street and Jean
Coddington from the Alex Park Estate.
Jean also confirmed that Hazel Walker was due to attend future meetings.

Aim of the Group
Khan stated the aim of the group was to put forward recommendations for £33,000 of government funding to be spent over a 3 year period via applications from the community.
The aim of today’s meeting was to set the priorities for the year ahead and Khan confirmed the amount to be allocated for the current year was £8,488, current year being from 1st April 2013 onwards.
Khan confirmed that we are in Year 3 of the 4 year project.

Patricia
agreed to come up with a useful form of words and this will be circulated to
the group prior to the priorities being updated on the Moss Side Community
First website.
The Group agreed that the advert would open for the current round of funding on the 1 April, to close on 31 May and the next meeting was arranged for Thursday 6 June at 3.00pm.
Tom agreed to add Jean and Tracy to the mailing list and in terms of the action plan, Tola agreed to send a copy of the guidance for new panels to Tom.

Expenses
The issue of expenses was raised and Khan updated the group on what Levenshulme do in that a small community group administer the funds, so no expenses is paid. In terms of Moss Side, Mosscare are the administrators and will not be putting forward any expense claims. This was welcomed as the group prefer that the funding goes toward the community projects.
